Due to the repetitive action of typing on a computer you can develop pain in the fingers and hand. This is known as writer’s cramp. Treatment involves relief of pain with pain killers like brufen, aspirin or paracetamol. Applying ice packs and physiotherapy, massage and electrotherapy also help. While working on a computer, see to it that you are positioned properly so as to cause the least amount of strain on your fingers, wrists and hands. Take regular small breaks from repetitive actions.
