It is a fat soluble vitamin which has antioxidant properties. It protects the body by repairing the damage in fatty tissues like the skin, brain and nerves. It slows down the ageing process and smooths out wrinkles. It helps reduce the risk of heart disease and progression of dementia. Almonds, sunflower and sesame seeds, asparagus and sweet potato are rich in Vitamin E. But do not overcook them as heat can destroy the vitamin.
